We offer an affordable Rent to Own program, which allows your child to start with a quality instrument - without you having to invest a lot of money upfront.
You can help us to expedite the process by filling out the rent to own credit application. For starters, let’s review the rent to own application together. We will need you to provide us the following information:
1. What school will your child attend this year? In the top right hand corner, please provide the student (your child’s) full name and indicate the school and ISD they will be attending.
2. What instrument has your child decided to play? Located approximately around the mid-section of the form, please indicate the type of instrument.
3. Please complete the remaining top section of the application form beginning with the Customer Profile through the section requesting NEAREST RELATIVE.
NOTE: We do not rent instruments outside of Texas, sorry.
Here’s how the Rent to Own program works:
· We offer affordable monthly payments – the lowest rental price in-town.
· The monthly rental fee is set – so you can easily incorporate this into your budget.
· The principle portion of your monthly payment - accumulates equity and may be applied towards the purchase of a new or upgrade instrument.
· If your child chooses not to continue in the band or orchestra program, you may return the instrument after 4 months and cancel your rental agreement with no further obligation.
We offer a variety of payment options designed for your convenience – You may pay at the store with cash, check or credit card.
For future payment options we provide an automatic monthly charge to your checking account, or an automatic monthly charge to your credit card.
This eliminates the need for you to write a check every month and there will be no coupon book, no checks, no postage for mailing and your payment will always be made on time.
If you choose the credit card option, please check the “Deduct Payment” box on the credit application and initial next to the checked box, authorizing us to set up this option.
If you select the automatic deduct option from your checking account, a separate signed authorization form and a voided check will be requested.
The final option of a coupon booklet is also available.
Once you’ve selected your instrument and payment plan, don’t forget to add some accessories to ensure your child’s success in music. Most music directors provide an instrument and accessory preference listing.
School Specifics:
(Many) Schools (are different and) require different mouthpieces and ligatures for clarinets and saxophones and different mouthpieces for brass instruments as well…these items are school specific and we need this important information from you, in order to accurately provide your child with the correct pieces.
As always, these items are included in your rental pricing. No additional money is required.
For Saxophones and Clarinets, extra reeds are recommended. Each instrument comes with one reed to get your child started, but reeds do break.
A Music Stand is highly recommended for use for home practice. A music stand promotes good posture and helps your child avoid bad habits.
Instrument Care Kits contain accessories to help your child keep their instrument in top playing condition. Accessories include necessary oils and greases, as well as a polishing cloth, and other items specific to each instrument.
A Classroom Package contains a basic black 3 ring 1” binder with pockets, (10) clear sheet protector sheets, a pencil bag, a luggage tag for your instrument, and a black lead pencil.
